These "saddle bag" mounts are designed to hold 2s 2200mah (and smaller) batteries in a low center of gravity configuration. The design positions the batteries lower than stock in a central location for better weight distribution. Attaches using 4x M3x10 screws, mounting in the factory center plate holes. 1/14/18 Update - While the original mounts are still working Great in my SCX10 I made a 2nd pair that shifts the weight 1/2" forward (or backward depending on mounting) for my recent # OpenSourceCrawler project.
