Outdoor GFCI Outlet Cover

Outdoor GFCI Outlet Cover

This is a modification of mrpirkle's outdoor outlet cover. I needed a good outlet cover and their design was great, though it was too big to fit on the side of my outdoor power box and it wasn't ideal for the straight plugs I was using to power LED lights. The box is sized to fit standard GFCI type outlets. It's primarily designed for straight end plugs with fairly flexible wires that can exit the bottom opening. The cover locks into place and the box has a water resistant channel to protect against rain and sprinklers. A foam gasket or seal of some sort is recommended for the back. The print quality on my example isn't the greatest. I'm still struggling to get good PETG prints out of my Ender-3 S1, but it's functional and you might get better results. UPDATE 8/27/2022: - I added an extended version of the lid. This lid is about half-an-inch deeper in interior depth than the regular lid so it might help if you have something bulky like a Wi-Fi smart plug plugged into your outlet.
