Outdoor water Collector

A simple device to collect water in outdoors. The device is made of clear plastic, with an novel inner coating of a nano material by NBD Nano to enhance condensation. The device when placed on ground, where moisture content is present (such as beaches, marshes etc), the water vapor formed by evaporation is trapped by the device. With the aid of the special coating, the vapor easily condenses to form droplets of pure water. The water is is collected in the container present in the bottom part of the device. The water can be tapped to useful purposes using a small screw cap provided in the bottom part of the device. The presented design approximately has a size of 1m dia x 1/2 m height. It can hold upto 12 liters of water. This design can provide a ultra low cost method to harness ground water in its purest without using any form of electricity or mechanical work. As an improvisation on the design, the same concept can be used to collect water using green house roofs, inside which the atmosphere will be having large humidity content. The water can then be used for drip irrigation in the same house itself.
