I am using 2 HMFs in my 700l fish tank with pumps (each 1000l/hr). The hose was pointing straight out of the mat, and there were "dead" zone on the surface. With this 180 degree outlet, the flow is spread across the complete depth ofthe tank. As my filters are left and right of the tank, the duckweed is kept in the middle of the tank. The outlet has a tight fit on 16mm outer diameter hoses (15.5mm is the hole in the outlet). For fish tank, use transparent PETG at best. No support needed. 2 versions with different holes, 3mm slots and 5mm hexagons, not sure which is better,
