<h3>"Over-Engineered" Paper Roller</h3> <p>While converting the <b><a href="https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3789969">d.i.d. - Scalable Pen Plotter</a></b> project to work as a vinyl cutter, I managed to get everything working reliably except the provided paper roller design. I went through multiple different designs but ended up sticking with a definitely over engineered solution. It consists of a captive spring and o-rings riding on a bearing.</p> Other than the bolts, you will need these parts: <ol> <li><a href="https://www.aliexpress.com/item/4000382418044.html">Springs</a></li> <li><a href="https://www.123bearing.eu/seal-OR-10X2.50-EPDM70.php">O-Rings</a><em> Can be found elsewhere aslong as ring matches these specifications: <b>Inner diam.: 10 mm Outer diam.: 15 mm Width: 2.5 mm</b></em></li> <li><a href="https://www.aliexpress.com/item/32999304846.html">Bearings</a><em> 624ZZ</em></li> </ol> <h2>Important Note:</h2> <em><p>This part is not compatible with my other <a href="https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3881505">vinyl cutter attachment</a>.
