Ovulix v3.0 - GrabCAD Egg Drop Challenge

This is a single print design for an egg protector. The aim is the use the flexible properties of 3D printed plastic to absorb the shock of a 15ft drop for the <a href="https://grabcad.com/challenges/3d-printing-egg-drop-challenge"> Egg Drop Challenge</a>. This is my second attempt for the challenge.Unfortunately, this design also did not protect the egg. It may protect an egg from a lower drop but not 15ft.This design was much easier for support material removal ​than the Ovulix v1.3. The brittleness of the ABS plastic caused it to crack on impact.There are a further 3 cousins of this design (Ovulix Range) that will be uploaded as separate entries.Videos of the failed attempt will be uploaded soon...
