Owl Cookie Cutter

Owl Cookie Cutter

In the spirit of the season we made gingerbread cookies this year. To make it special for my son I adapted a character he likes to draw into a cookie cutter. And now you get to try it! It worked great using gingerbread dough rolled out to 1/4" thick. The detail patterns are about 4mm from the bottom so if you want to use a different thickness dough consider scaling the z axis. I found our dough to stick in the feet a bit so I added a releasing tool that plugs in to the cutter from the top that pushes all of the cut shape out at once. I printed in PLA but I recommend using food grade PLA or PETG and preferably a food grade stainless nozzle. Brass can contain lead so be cautious. Please leave feedback in the comments and I'll try to address any issues that come up. Enjoy!
