This is number 3 in my weekly earring quest. This is my 3D interpretation of the "Hunger Games" Mockingjay logo. It looks dissimilar enough that it could just be a neat earring. I haven't read the Hunger Games books (edit: just read them), but my girlfriend loves them. I hope she loves this too! Instructions Printing this one is a little tricky. I deliberately didn't think about how it would be printed when I made it, which resulted in a lot of support testing. Placing the bird on it's head actually works really well. Print the bird. Print the ring. Dip in Acetone. Wire together. Exhale. I have included the !Up file for the bird with the orientation that worked best for me. Make sure you print two birds at the same time to give the tail feathers a chance to cool between layers and/or install a fan.
