P2015 Euro (plastic manifold) fix

If you've got a European diesel VW, Skoda etc and getting the P2015 error then you probably already know this is the inlet manifold flap going to an implausible position. There are brackets out there to fix this, reasonably cheap too at only around £10 in some cases. But these brackets need the removal of fuel lines and other components to access the area and fit it. This custom bracket however uses Christian Wiesner's custom part dimensions (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0ReNJWM0rOo) to massively reduce the time taken to apply the fix. I've printed this in PLA without curing it or anything fancy. What I have done however is added a M6 threaded insert to the opening and also added a short length (approx 2.5cm) of hose pipe wrapped in metal foil tape to increase the diameter to around 28mm. This can be a bit of a trial and error of fitting the part, seeing if the actuator touches it and then adding more winds of tape. For fitting I suggest watching the earlier linked video as this shows it quite clearly. You can use an existing 'hole' in the area to put the M6 bolt through - I used a screw from network equipment racking hardware. The insert was heated using a soldering iron and then threaded into the plastic until flush. These are the inserts I used: https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00JR2LMXQ/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o07_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 The engine management light will continue to illuminate potentially for a few re-starts of the engine until it self clears, or you can clear yourself with ODB2 adapter.
