This is a bearing mount to replace the U clips on the Prusia or the metal U clamps on the P3Steel. **The Problem** The issue is that the U clamps is they do not spread the clamping load across the entire bearing housing. This causes the outside of the bearing housing to compress and become oval. This in turn causing the bearings to stick and not slide ad smoothly along the linear rods. This issue is exaggerated when using the igus bushing type bearing as they are plastic and softer than the metal counterparts. **The Solution** Extend the clamping load across the entire bearing housing. Printing the part should printed in ABS PLA or ideally Nylon for its layer strength and ability to flex slightly.
