I was getting concerned that the inside door latch handle on my PA28-180C, Piper Cherokee, was flexing when locking/unlocking the door. So to avoid being stuck in the cockpit with a broken handle, I designed this latch handle to have as a spare or replacement. I've printed it in both PETG (with a 0.32mm layer height, 30% infill) and Taulman Alloy 910 (with a 0.16mm layer height, 100% infill). I decided to print the Alloy 910 as it is UL94HB (Flame Retardant) certified. I notice little difference in the stiffness of the latch handle with the different infill..
