Have you ever bought an inflatable boat like the one below for 25$ just to realise that it will cost you 50$ more just to get paddles for it?

Here is the solution for the wise people who made discutable life decisions of exploring the world inside this boat: The printable paddle that will fit on a broomstick!

The next time you go to the cottage, ask for a broom or a leaf rake to do some “cleaning” around and then subtilise it for your own puprose. If you only find one, you will have to use it as a kayak paddle with a single shaft.

Basically, the bigger your printer is for this model, the faster you will cross the ocean. The smaller your printer is, the more you're gonna just give it to the kids to play with, causing a deep deception feeling for your explorer dreams!

The design include screw holes on the sides because the last thing you want is to be left with only a broomstick in the middle of nowhere waiting for rescue!

I put the .3mf files of both right and left paddle. They don't need any support but they sure need one of a hell bed adhesion.

To fit best to your printer whitout chaging the diameter of the shaft, unlock the scale and set the maximum Z. You also need to check the real diameter of the broomstick you want to fit to scale it to the right diameter.

PETG is my go to for this print, 3 walls, 0,4mm nozzle, print hot for good layer adhesion, no supports needed, 0,2mm layer height.
