Paintball Pod Stand

Paintball Pod Stand

So I was looking around for a way to fill my pods easier, before I had purchased my hauler, and came up with this idea. It's a simple stand to hold paintball pods. Designed with the shrinkage of the material in mind, I added some buffer space around each of the holes on the top tray, so that nothing gets stuck or has to be forced through. It was designed with my Maddog Bones pods and my max print size in mind.

Printing Instructions:

You'll need:

Top Tray x1

Bottom Tray x1

Tight Slide x2

Footpad x4 (printed in TPU 95A just cause I had some lying around, they're not needed though)

Everything should be rotated in their correct positions in the STLs, otherwise, just make sure that on the foot pads and the uprights you print them biggest side down. If you are printing the version with the cutouts for the footpads, I would recommend adding supports, but then adding support blockers to the slots in the top. I've had success bridging the small gap with my default print settings, but your results may vary.

Included is a version of the bottom tray without footpads.

I recommend a dab of epoxy to secure the footpads in place.

I also included f3d and step archives if you want to remix it yourself.

EDIT: Updated Upright, now called Tight Slide, should hold the top piece more stable

Print Settings

Printer Brand:

Creality

Printer:

Ender 3

Rafts:

No

Supports:

Yes

Resolution:

.2

Infill:

20

Filament: eSun PLA Pro

Category: Sport & Outdoors
