Painters Tripod (Triangle)

Painters Tripod (Triangle)

This is a simple painters pyramid or triangle used for drying boards or projects after painting and staining. I've often had occasions where I've painted a project or stained a piece of wood, and I need to rest it on an edge to dry to prevent it from sticking. I started nailing a series of finishing nails into scrap wood to create tripods for my pieces to rest on, and I thought that there must be a better way. These are simple 1" triangular pyramids similar to [these](https://www.amazon.com/20-Pcs-Pyramid-Painter-Pyramids-Feature/dp/B075JKDM9C/ref=sr_1_1_sspa?ie=UTF8&qid=1550293927&sr=8-1-spons&keywords=painters+tripods&psc=1) that have printed fine with no support. Each piece takes about 10 minutes on our Taz 5 with no infill. This does make the pyramids pretty weak, but I'm generally not working with anything too heavy - so, these work just fine. I've started to use these as a quick verification print for my 3D printers too. It's fast enough and has a mild level of complexity for testing extrusion temperatures and retraction settings.
