As soon as the Pakistani car owner has free money, the first thing he does is to paint the body. Drivers of trucks, buses and jeeps are in the lead here. Painting a truck costs 3-5 thousand dollars, up to 2 thousand dollars is spent on decorating the cab with carpets. Only in Karachi 50 thousand masters are engaged in painting cars. The first to paint their buses in Pakistan (then still part of India) in the 1920s was undertaken by a certain owner of the Kohistan firm.
