Holder for the Palette filament sensor attaches securely to the backside of the D6 printer using the longer screw provided with your printer. Print both parts separately and join them together using a suitable adhesive, such as cyanoacrylate (CA), which I used for this project. Splitting the printing process into two separate parts eliminates the need for supports, streamlining the overall print job. The sensor-holder itself is a modified remix of an existing design from Thingiverse: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2659054. A new version has been added with an extended hold-back feature.
