This bronze relief shows a warrior pointing a spear in a dramatic, yet elegant pose. The piece was a study for a decoration of the lodge of honor of the Théâtre des Champs-Élysées. It is currently located in the studio-museum of its author, Antoine Bourdelle (1861–1929).
