Paludarium (Terrarium/Aquarium) Waterfall

Paludarium (Terrarium/Aquarium) Waterfall

thingiverse

I decided I wanted to create a paludarium (half terrarium, half aquarium) in a 40 gallon bow-front aquarium setting dry in my classroom. I wanted a gentle waterfall in it. So I decided to use an old pond/fountain pump I had. I needed a waterfall box and a filter for the pump to keep gunk out. I remixed [ItalicSix](https://www.thingiverse.com/ItalicSix)'s fairy garden [waterfall box](https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2585801) and used [7777773](https://www.thingiverse.com/7777773)'s [eggcrate box](https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:15221) to create a filter box for the pump. I added holes for tubing and electrical wiring. I then added [DrLex](https://www.thingiverse.com/DrLex)'s square [sieve](https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2578935) to make the holes smaller. I put four pegs on the lid of the filter box and the bottom of the waterfall box to accommodate PVC pipe as supports. I'll add pics as I print and assemble. Update 9/6/18 added a groove into the filter box to allow for the pump electrical cord. Will reprint and add pictures.
