Pan Tilt Phone Camera

A servo-operated Pan/Tilt mount suitable for a typical android phone. I have provided scad files if you want to change the parameters for a larger or smaller phone. The original idea for this project came from http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:302741 ... so this mount is also suitable for a small camera like a picam or a pixy if the camera mount part is modified. This servo mount is part of a project for an internet-of-things capable pan/tilt camera using these parts, an Android phone and a Raspberry Pi running Python scripts and a mosquito MQTT server. The project works but the code is pretty rough ... regardless the project code is at https://github.com/DarfieldChris/MinePi. Instructions The .scad and .stl files for the 3D printed parts are in the directory branch '3DPrinter'. The parts were printed with an infill of .8 (80%) with good results. The pan/tilt arm uses two servo motors ... the initial prototype uses: 1x SG-5010 TowerPro servo 1x SM-S4303R (not sure of manufacturer) These servos were used because they were available ... one of these servos is cpntinuous and one is not. I would go with non-continuous servos for both motors ... the SG-5010 is non-continuous so I would go with two of these servos (or similar) moving forward. There is code for controlling the servos from a raspberry pi at https://github.com/DarfieldChris/MinePi ... the code is tied-up with MQTT Server communication so may not be useful but it is a starting point ... I ran the servos directly off the GPIO pins of the RPi.
