Brackets for Panasonic Microwave Oven Trim Kit; For installing a Panasonic Microwave trim kit face without cutting a larger opening in your kitchen cabinet. Installation: Step 1: Place microwave trim kit face-down on a towel. Step 2: While carefully holding each 3D-printed bracket in place in the trim kit with recessed area facing down, drill through the top and bottom edge of the metal microwave trim kit into each bracket. Clean up the metal filings to avoid scratching the face of the trim kit. Step 3: While still face down, test fit each screw placing it through the metal trim kit and into the 3D-printed bracket (recessed area of the bracket still facing towards the front of the trim kit). With screws in place, measure distance between the recessed holes in the trim kit to determine hole location in the kitchen cabinet. Step 4: With the microwave oven installed in the opening, place the trim kit around the microwave to determine bracket locations with respect to the kitchen cabinet opening. Step 5: Unscrew brackets from the trim kit and screw each bracket into the kitchen cabinet around the microwave opening, centering them using the measurements taken in steps 4-5. Step 6: Install the trim kit face by setting it over the brackets, check that the screw holes line up, and reinstall the 4 screws that were test-fit in step 3.
