This is a panel mount for an Ethernet inline coupler. I made this for my CNC controller box. The pictures show this mounted in a 14-gauge box, but the part is designed to fit a panel up to .75 inches thick. The mount is designed for this ethernet coupler from Monoprice: The assembly also requires heatset inserts. Instructions All parts were printed in ABS, and the heatset inserts were installed in the middle piece using the tip of a soldering iron to push them in. Put something flat across the inserts for a few seconds after removing the iron to keep the inserts from squeezing out a bit. Cut the three holes in the panel using drill bits and a hole saw. Clamp the outer and middle pieces to your panel with the #8 fasteners. Clamp up the Ethernet coupler between the middle and inner pieces using the four #6 screws. You'll need to pick out the screws lengths based on the thickness of your panel. I used 1.5" long screws for my 14-gauge panel, and I had to shim under the screw heads with a few washers. Thicker panels will use shorter screws.
