Paper Basketball Hoop

Paper Basketball Hoop

Having basketball be a huge portion of my life, I've decided to make a basketball hoop out of acrylic. It is strong enough to keep from being knocked over when shooting and large enough for the paper balls to fit through the rim, if you're a good shot. There are two heraldic lions at the top corners just to add some style. Instructions Used Adobe Illustrator to create the blueprints of this project. A piece of black acrylic, 15"x11" to cut upon and the Epilog Win64x Engraver to perform the vectoring and engraving. One problem I had with Illustrator was removing vector lines to cut the slots where the feet fit into the backboard support. I learned that there can't be a fill on the vector lines.
