I mad a catapult that I should upload as well. At work the catapult was a hit with my co workers. So one of my co workers felt the need to defend him self against the tiny desktop catapult so he made paper hornets... Then he said.... "Wait... Could you make a gun that shoots paper hornets?" My response was, "Why yes I can". So I designed this in one sitting. Got it almost perfect the first try. Using a rubber band it shoots paper hornets. It also assembles without glue or fasteners other than printed parts. YOU WILL NEED. 2 rubber bands, and 1 spring from a click pen. I will post a vid ventually. How to assemble. 1. put trigger where it goes. This should be obvious. 2. Place sear so that the trigger manipulates it. 3. Using the spring from a click pen, put it on the 2 nubs between the sear and the shooter body. This is to return the spring after is it pulled. 4. Place cover on body. 5. using the clips you printed. (You need to print 2 of them) clip the body together. 6.Take the sling shot and clip it in the body in the socket. 7. take a rubber band and put it over 1 side of the sling shot. Pull it under the body around and over the other side. This is to hold the sling shot on. It will work with out this but it will fall off each time you use it. 8.put rubber band on the sling shot. 9. make a paper hornet. A small one. It has to fit so the sear grabs it and can release it. (Piece of paper about 4" x 1" fold into one works well" 10. load and put trigger and have fun. The rubber band will fall of often, but if you use 2 tiny rubber bands like the kind for hair, you can fasten the rubber band on.
