Paper Plant Pot Mould

Paper Plant Pot Mould

thingiverse

This is a simple tool for making biodegradable seed starter pots out of paper. As paper is biodegradable, these pots are zero waste - you can just plant the whole thing and the paper will break down in the ground. They'll last a few weeks at least before they'll start to loose integrity. The mould is for a 40mm pot. To use the mould cut a strip of paper a little wider than your pots will be tall, roll it up on the mould then fold the excess into the indent in the bottom of the mould. You then press the whole thing (paper and mould) into the base piece and press down firmly to form the bottom of the pot. I've made [an instructable](https://www.instructables.com/Make-Paper-Plant-Pots-With-or-Without-3D-Printer/) detailing the whole process too.
