Parabolic Wifi Reflector Fast Print

Parabolic Wifi Reflector Fast Print

thingiverse

This is a remix of Parabolic WIFI reflector by jamhot. The top has been cut off and the plastic was made thinner to make the print faster/easier. No supports are needed. The antenna hole was enlarged to ~12mm. Print out one bottom and one top and tape or glue them together. If you have a long antenna stack multiple bottoms, taping them together. Place one top at the top of the stack. Tinfoil was taped to the outside and compared to tinfoil taped to the inside of the parabola, I could not measure a difference with my wireless routers strength meter. I measured a 2db to 3db signal increase for 2.4ghz on my ~16" long antenna. I'm using a stack of 3 bottoms and one top. My router has 3 antennas, I only put it on one antenna and aimed it at the wifi cold spot.
