Paracord Spool / Holder - BatSpool

thingiverse

A paracord spool with a cutout for a razor blade and 2 notches for holding paracord ends. The hole in the bat's head at the top can be used to attach a key-ring and/or carabiner. Very lightweight and requires little filament but still very strong. Just mark where your blade's mounting hole is and make a hole through the blade cover and spool with a screw, soldering iron, hot spike, drill, etc. I mounted the cover with a small bolt and nut but any small screw should suffice. Print Settings Printer: XYZ DaVinci 1.0 Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: Any Infill: 75%+ for best strength Notes: If printing with ABS, as I did, I recommend acetone vapor smoothing to increase layer adhesion for best strength.
