The XC handles offer an alternative method compared to wrapping the brake handle e.g. in thermal flying. The XC ball allows the pilot to hold the brake line in the same position as when winding. You can feel the glider much better in the moving air. Modifications to the original design: Larger hole for the swivel and rounded edges.
