Update 2022-09-19: There was an error in previous versions, please use _v4 FreeCAD file for your own experiments. The [fischertechnik](https://www.fischertechnik.de/en) construction toy system has [bow-shaped beams (Bogenstücke) with 60° and 30°](https://ft-datenbank.de/tickets?fulltext=bogenst%C3%BCck) as part of their statics line. Combined with the [flat girder part (Flachträger)](https://ft-datenbank.de/tickets?fulltext=Flachtr%C3%A4ger) you can construct circular structures with a diameter of 22,9 cm (60°) and 45,8 cm (30°). A while ago, [I added beams with 15° and 7,5°](https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3243215), resulting in diameters of 91,7 cm (15°) and 183,3 cm (7,5°). This design adds a fully parametric version with which you can create bow beams with any degree and radius you need. Just load the freeCAD file and edit the parameters on the spread sheet titled "v", I hope they are self explanatory. You will find that the geometry even of the original parts is not strictly exact, so you'll probable need one or two test prints to get them right, so that they fit to the flat girder / Flachträger part and so that they form a full circle. [Peter](https://www.thingiverse.com/phabermehl/designs) (PHabermehl from the [ft:c forum](https://forum.ftcommunity.de/index.php)) used my parametric design to create a number of ready-to-use variants with 22.5°, 30°, 36°, 45° and 60° for which he provided the stl files, and also the FCstd files where you can find the parameters he used.
