Parametric Christmas Ornament Ball

This is a customizable Christmas ornament. It has an internal hour glass structure for support at the top & looks kind of cool. I printed it without fill and made it 2" in diameter. You can add your own text, but text did not come out very readable on my 1st print. It took 2 hours and 1 minute to print on my Makerfarm 10" printer & weighs 1/3 of an ounce. To use the write function, you will need the write.scad file from: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:16193 I was inspired by http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:579333 , but the walls were too thin to print well on my printer. Instructions Either print the stl file or customize the .scad file. On my 2nd print of this, I added 3 - 4mm beads to the inside of hour glass when it was at about 12mm up & again at about 43mm up. The text may come out better with raised text rather than etched in.
