Parametric Compartment tray
thingiverse
To organize small items like screws when dismantling laptops, I printed a customized tray with adjustable compartments. Using OpenSCAD, I designed it to also accommodate long, thin items such as airbrush needles. Future updates may include features for different wall thicknesses between compartments and outer walls, plus rounded bottoms. The .scad file includes straightforward variables: compx and compy determine compartment size (in mm); wall specifies the wall thickness (also in mm); nox and noy represent the number of compartments in x and y; deep sets each compartment's depth.
