I had aluminium tubing left over from another project. figured I could build something useful out of it using 3d printing. The FreeCAD model is available to download. Dimensions can be adjusted in the "user input" column of the ModelParameters sheet. supplies: - on-on switch (https://fr.aliexpress.com/item/32799985165.html) - C7 connector (https://fr.aliexpress.com/item/1005001484424312.html) - 12V leds strip - 12V led driver (https://www.amazon.fr/gp/product/B01MQJR6K9) - 4 neodymium magnet discs - 5 M3x10mm screws - 5 brass inserts - 20mm tube (outer diameter) - C7 power cord Tips: - sacrificial parts are not in the final assembly. i use them to calibrate the clearance between parts and supplies - use a soldering iron to place the brass inserts. it works well - print the head with 100% infill to make it completely opaque and prevent making the infill pattern, wiring and leds visible through the head
