Parametric Filament Clip

Parametric Filament Clip

This is a minor reworking of an item initially created by qubit01. Key modifications include: the thickness of the wall in the filament holder part automatically computed and reconfigured the file to meet personal aesthetic standards. Furthermore, adjustments were made while working on this task - subtracted shapes augmented by 1mm and then relocated downwards by 0.5mm so as to protrude from primary shapes on both sides. Initially, these shapes failed to intersect, creating an "interface" of minimal thickness (essentially non-existent) often deemed problematic in design and occasionally results in undesirable screen display when compiling the file (press F5), plus potential mesh distortions may appear under certain rendering circumstances. STL files generated had filament hole diameters set exactly. When these proved too restrictive, they were widened with matching drill bits suitable for respective sizes - such as 1/16 or 5/64, fitting the dimensions required by 1.75mm filaments.
