# Motivation I really like the design [1665993](https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1665993) from [markqv](https://www.thingiverse.com/markqv), but I needed it for the Mayatech (and similar) folding prop yoke. There is even a remix for exactly this: [2514514](https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2514514), but I had trouble with too much friction, that would need quite a bit of sanding. # Details This design should work for a lot of folding props, if you adapt the parameters accordingly. I included the (reverse engineered) parameters for the Aeronaut folding prop as well as the Mayatech + Gemfan ones. But I only tested the Maytech version myself. As usual I went for a parametric design, to make it easier to adapt things later. This time I tried to use the freecad TechDraw workbench to document all the parameter, which was a bit painful, because it has to be re-done whenever the slightest change is done to the model. But the result looks quite good. You can easily adapt the folding angles, shaft diameter and many other details just by changing the "config" sheet in freecad. No need for any sanding at all! The Mayatech yoke size is 34.5mm. But you can also create all Aeronaut variants from [1665993](https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1665993) and adapt the shaft diameter and angles to your specific prop. As said above, the design is completely stolen from [markqv](https://www.thingiverse.com/markqv). All credits to him. Also have a look at his website about folding pusher props. # Sharing is Caring If you figured out the right parameters for your yoke or folding prop blades and want to share them, then please let me know! I can include the parameters in the freecad file and also add a .stl file, so that others can save some plastic and time. Or just create a remix, if you like.
