Parametric (FreeCAD) Soft Jaws for Vice/Vise

thingiverse

This is a parametic soft jaw design. You can parametrize it with FreeCAD, just open the model and edit the Parameterize Sketch. Most of the other dimensions can be set there… The jaws feature holes for rectangular magents, spaced enough not to interfere with the screws the hard jaws are mounted with. (WIP to have also the remaining dimensinos configurable there) (designed in FreeCAD 0.18.4) License: GPL-3.0+ Printed in PETG and TPU with 0.2 mm layer height. Does not need support. Prints best in the orientation of the STL. If neeed add a drop of epoxy to the magnets. While there is place for 3 magnets, it works fine with only two. Update Feb 29th 2020: Added stl for the Heuer Compact I've just bought for our local hackspace.
