Update 8/25/2016 I updated this to add another pattern & an option for a tray. You can also open this in the Customizer. See the 2nd image for description of Variables. I also included a stl file of the tray option so you can see what I mean by that. I limited the number of Rows or Columns to 20 on the Customizer, but if you use the openscad script on your machine that is unlimited. My wife has a quite a few little bottles of essential oil, bach flower remedies and herbal extract bottles. Instead of just having these on shelf, I thought it would be nice to make some little containers for them. I like the hex pattern, so I used that design to create an openscad file to varie the size of them based on 8 variables. Since making this, I have made a number of containers for various purposes. Instructions You can print one of the STL files to see how it looks to you or the best option is to use the openscad file to generate the grid you want. Here are the variables from the file that you can change. ID=25.4; //Diameter from Face to Face or inscribed circle Ht=20; //Height of Outside of Honeycomb //Height inside will be = Ht-Thk W_Thk=1.6; //Thickness of Walls Thk=1.6; //Thicknes of Base Rows=2; //Number of Rows with the honeycomb Cols=3; //Number of Columns with the honeycomb Edge=0; //0 or 1, 0= Every other row has 2 less Containers //1 = Every other row has same number of containers
