Parametric Jaw Coupling with optional spider
thingiverse
This redesigned coupling omits the spider and offers versatile hub attachments for shafts. Strut options are customizable, unlike the parent designs' two per hub. Hub mesh is tight without a spider. Attachment choices include a perpendicular nut/bolt, inline captured nut, hole for bolt passage, or clamping slit. A printed spider could be used with better shock absorption from Sugru/oogoo or hot glue alternatives. Print each component separately due to misaligned z-axis in STLs. Issues with slicers are not a concern. Numerous ideas and code from phraust, lievenstandaert, miseryBot, joostn, and zignig/modilion were borrowed for this design.
