Parametric Knob (Originally for Subwoofer)

This thing was made with Tinkercad. Edit it online https://www.tinkercad.com/things/eNKceTtqHef This is a parametric(ish) knob with a nice indicator slot, bi-tapered center and round, domed base. The inner whole has a grooving pattern in it. I couldn't find a nice knob model that matched my needs. I originally made this to replace a potentiometer volume knob on a Polk Subwoofer, but it can easily be scaled for stove or other knobs and the center easily modified. My first two prints of this worked perfectly however the raised lip around the post on the bottom broke off and stuck to the potentiometer. Suggest removing this lip for very small knobs. Also at the small scale the grooves were not entirely helpful and required Xacto modification/removal. The recess is still necessary to fit over potentiometer surface mount nuts if you want it to fit flush with the device surface. Please feel free to remix and save for other uses! Just head to TinkerCAD and ungroup it. There are several sub-assemblies grouped as well to keep holes/recesses where they ought to be. It would be great to have a family tree of knob models that suite a lot of needs. I printed these on a monoprice mini III with no trouble at all with a 25% infill. I'm new at this so not sure if a different setting is worthwhile. They printed great the first time and I never looked back! Donations welcome as they are a great validation and encouragement. I will be putting up other functional items as I get to them. I'm all about making fun toys and gadgets but I relish in opportunities to fix things and solve problems!
