Parametric linear bearing (lm8uu with default config)
thingiverse
Things you can adjust: outer and inner diameter, height (or length), number of claws, shell thickness. You can easily play with claw pressure yourself (make it thinner/thicker etc). Expect soon: option to keep it open. May be useful if you have sbr rail or want to adjust the backlash with the bolt. I took the design idea from bunch of bearings on Thingiverse. I'm still going to experiment with claw form a bit. The main motivation in my case was the fact that I need custom bearings for my non-perfect out-of-the-shelf 5/16" rods. They were supposed to be 7.93 mm (already bad for production lm8uu), but actually were 7.82mm. Enjoy! BTW We should have some other category for general purpose parametric parts, that can be used in other devices (this is mechanical engineering, but not 3d printer parts only).
