Enclosure for a 12V Motor Controller. Can be resized with changes to the Openscad code. Instructions An enclosure was needed for a standard 12V motor controller to add to our solar powered automated garden watering system. The controller seems to be readily available on ebay e.g. item 280913522973. The Openscad code from Scanners Sparkfun enclosure was modified to change parameters for the size and add a lid. The external lugs were also re-orientated to avoid being overshadowed by the potentiometer control knob: The pictures shows an earlier version with the lugs in the wrong orientation. Some self-amalgamating tape was used as a seal around the potentiometer control opening to reduce the ingress of water. The wiring openings were enlarged afterwards with a diamond file to allow for larger than expected diameter wiring. Seperate STL files for the box and lid are given as they may be too big to fit on a makerbot build platform in one go.
