Parametric Oscillating Fan Base / Christmas Tree Base

Parametric Oscillating Fan Base / Christmas Tree Base

thingiverse

Someone broke the base of my oscillating fan. It used to collapse for storage, but since I never store it I created a more rigid base for it. I designed it to fit under the original cover that hides the pivot points on the original design. Could possibly be used for a Christmas Tree base. I've included my Fusion 360 project file for those of you that might want to modify this. I've added 9 easily changeable parameters for modifying: Shaft Diameter Shaft Length (auto adjusts if not modified) Base Diameter Base Height Upper Diameter (auto adjusts if not modified) Upper Height Leg Hole Size Leg Hole Height (from bottom of model) Leg Angle (90 - this parameter = angle) Let me know if you have any questions. (I've considered attempting to create this in OpenSCAD, but I don't have the time to commit to it. Perhaps someone else would like to do it. I'd like to see the results. :) )
