This project box is customizable using OpenSCAD, just open the .scad file and on the right hand side you can adjust the parameters.

The top holes default to a radius of 3.5mm which is the size of an SMA antenna connector. (7mm Dia). I also add a small square indent on the top holes to help orient most SMA connectors. ( I plan on adding hexagonal indents in the future).

This box has an IP rating of ..... just kidding :) but I have tested a box for the last 2 years outdoors using it as a solar powered weather station and every time i've opened it there has been no signs of water intrusion. Its been through heavy rains, strong winds and heavy ice/snow storms.

I print mine with PETG and have had good luck with longevity outdoors. Of course I make no guarantees that you'll have the same results, but with a few test prints to dial in the tolerance of the lid, you to can have similar results.

Print Settings

Printer Brand:

Creality

Printer:

Ender 3

Rafts:

No

Supports:

No

Resolution:

200

Infill:

38

Filament: PolyMaker PETG

Category: 3D Printing
