Parametric paint stirrer

Parametric paint stirrer

A simple semi-parametric paint stirrer. The diameter of the model is 40mm. Adjust the following parameters to suit your needs: 1. radius - the radius of the overall stirrer. The one in the model is small since I had a 1/2 liter can that it needed to fit into. 2. fins - number of fins (for 6 or above, the radius needs to be larger) 3. thickness - thickness of the fins 4. height - overall height of the stirrer 5. shaft_dia - diameter of the shaft that will be mated to the stirrer 6. cyl_offset - thick of the shaft dia hole 7. angle1 - Angle of the fins at the outer surface of the shaft cylinder 8. angle2 - Angle of the fins at the overall radius of the stirrer 9. top_fillet - fillet radius at the top of the fins 10. bottom_fillet - fillet radius at the bottom of the fins 11. fin_fillet (optional) - if you'd like to add a small fillet to the edges of the fillet. This is not modeled and will have to be added separately. *Notes:* 1. The thickness of the fins matter and correlate with the shaft dia thickness. If the shaft dia is too thin and the fins are too thick there will be jagged edges where the fins mate with the cylinder. 2. Shaft angles will also decide how many fins can be accomodated. 3. The model has a shaft diameter of 8mm but for small stirrers 4 and 5mm shafts might be preferrable.
