Parametric Pipe Saddle Clamp

thingiverse

Used for hanging piping from rafters, joists, walls, etc. I needed this for hanging a section of PVC pipe from a ceiling joist to hang my filament spools. Worked like a charm. Instructions This Thing is fully parametric. Download the SCAD file and edit in OpenSCAD. You can adjust the saddle clamp by changing: Pipe diameter Strap width Length of the saddle clamp tabs Strap thickness Diameter of the screw hole Make your changes, hit F6, export your STL, and print. NOTE: The STL part uploaded here is for 22.3mm PVC pipe (7/8" diameter), 20mm strap width, 20mm strap tabs, 1.5mm strap thickness, and 4mm screw holes. I printed this part with 0 shells, 50% infill, 0.35mm layer thickness and it came out strong, yet flexible, on my Makerbot Cupcake.
