Do you hate having to fish out horrible hairs from your sink or bathtubs plughole? Have you ever wished for a way to make it easier to clean? Well now you can print the non-patented handy-dandy plug hole strainer! Customise it to the size of your hole and it will help to keep out all those unwanted hairs. Once it gets too clogged, pull it out of the plughole, go to your bin and just scrape off the hairs and re-install! The job nobody likes to do made easy! In all seriousness, I have used this on my bath and it does work well. Will need cleaning still, but it is much much easier then dealing with the plughole as it is removable. This is my first attempt to create something with OpenSCAD. Don't want to clean, print a new one! (Better to clean it though, it is easy and saves the planet). Instructions The STL is just a demo (set at 37mm diameter). Use the SCAD file and customise it to what you need. Only 4 parameters need setting: numberofslots = 21; // number of holes for water to get through outsidediameter = 37; // the diameter of your plug hole openingsize = 2; // size of the gap standoffheight = 5; // the depth of your plug hole The rest is done automatically.
