This is another design of printable ball bearings. But only the cage is printable - the balls you have to get yourselves! I used little steel balls from a rainmaker toy from my daughter with a diameter of about 1.5 - 1.7 mm. Because at this size the accuracy of my mendel has limits, I first printed a little filter with different hole sizes to select the right balls for the right hole diameter. To make them fit into the hole inside the bearing, I had to set the radius of this hole to 1.83 mm for balls with a radius of 1.6 mm. The openSCAD model is full parametric. So you can choose a ball size of your own - not everybody has a rainmaker toy at home^^ You can read the full story on: www.ifeelbeta.de Instructions Measure the diameter of your bearing balls, adjust the openSCAD file to your measured ball size and print a bearing. Glue or tape the plug.
