Introduction ========= This is a modified and improved version of the parametric propeller generator originally by BouncyMonkey and alter Maartenvanschagen. What's new ========= There are two versions V3 - control the thickness of the blade at base and NEW V4-which has built in NACA airfoil generator and allows you to have different airfoil at the base and at the tip, just like APC propellers. **For V4:** This version allows you to auto generate any 4 digit NACA airfoil. Because of that you are limited to the use of NACA airfoils, therefore if you needed other airfoils such as E63 use V3. In the parameters you can set different airfoil for the base and the tip to give you even more freedom. **For V3:** I added two parameters that control the thickness of the blade at the base. Before the blade thickness at the base was very thin and it presented a weak point, prone to damage. Now you can selectively thicken the part of blade near the base and not the whole blade. > **ThicknessFactorAtBase** determines how many times thicker is the blade at the base compared to the rest of the blade > **BaseBladeThickeningLength** determines where on the blade is approximately the transition between the thicker and normal blade **Other minor changes:** 1. fixed a bug in PitchAngleAdjustment function where it didn't work as expected because it was divided by CenterlineLength. 2. added resolution and min/max values for some parameters, because before decimals weren't available in the customizer. Printing: ====== Print it so that the blade lies down on the sharp edgel, use support throughout the whole length of the blade. I used support horizontal expansion (2mm), consequently the support was more stable. For infill I recommend 100%, but you can experiment with less infill to get lighter propellers. Modifying parameters: ================= Most parameters work well per default settings. For a detailed instructions look at the work of the previous two authors that explained them in great detail. **Note that hobby propellers are normally CCW, so set your settings accordingly**
