My previous motherboard “holder” was just a big piece of plexiglass, held in place by zip ties, nice, but not “minimal”, nor quick, nor easy to make in series, and mostly, not reprapable :) So i came up with these clamps, to be fited on the reprap's structure’s threaded rods: they already hold well by simple tension, but are even more stable thanks to the inwards pressure once you screw the motherboard onto them. Instructions All parametric, so please use the openscad file rather than the stls -The Stl's are for M6 rods, and the for a "huxley" size machine, to accomodate for different rod diameter just change the "rod_dia" parameter -for wider machines change the mount_hole_distance parameter : this is the distance between the center of one of your side rods and the place you want the motherboard's mount holes to be -you can also make these "taller" (to mount the motherboard higher, see pics) by changing the mount_hole_vertical_offset param. These types of clamps become unsymetric though, so just set the "flp" param to generate the left and right versions
