This is a customizable shrouded propeller designed in OpenSCAD, featuring adjustable parameters such as fin thicknesses, number of fins, and fin angles. It prints effectively on a heated build platform without supports or rafts. The propeller will be utilized in a DIY R/C boat; however, an improved version with elliptical fins is being developed. This design operates in Customizer but not with sliders. It was successfully printed using a Makerbot Replicator and Makerware 2.2.0.46 at "High" settings, with 100% infill, 5 shells, 0.10 mm layer height, extruder temperature of 240C, build plate temperature of 120C, and printing speeds of 90mm/s for extrusion and 150mm/s for travel (acceleration on, version 7.0 firmware). The outcome was impressive and visually appealing.
