- For SolidWorks 2019 or higher- Copy user features on HDD into folder of the design libary- Open the design libary on the right side of the graphics area- Navigate to the Feature, drag and drop it onto the face, where the thread should be created Note: There are two references needed to be defined by the user. A planar face and a point on the face. The thread will be created perpendicular to the face and concentric to point.- A couple of threads has already been created by me but of course the table could be expanded. To create a customized thread on the fly, which is not contained in the table. please set a hook in the checkbox "Größenbemaßungen" (That is the name in the german version). Then you get access to the last table.- I use a Zortrax M200- printer. The two offsets (Kernloch & Profil) can be adjusted manually. If you also have a M200 and work with Layer height of 0.09mm, you can use the default values. If not, then you might have to adjust one of the values or both. The general rules are: The more accurate the printer is working, the smaller the offset can be without producing a too tight thread. The smaller the offset is, the wider are the flanks of the thread and the more stable it is. Adjusting the parameters to your individual printer is not difficult, it's just a matter of experience. Always use the minimum layer height and work without support structure.
