Parametric Vape Station

Parametric Vape Station

thingiverse

A fully parametric holder for vape supplies. Includes modules for pens, pods, and bottles and everything about it is configurable. Some notes on the parameters: Layout: An array to control the number of positions in the organizer. Default is 3x5, but feel free to play around with it! Array: A two-dimensional array containing the lists of position types for each row. In the 3x5 example, this is [[1,1,2,2,2],[3,3,3,3,3],[3,3,3,3,3]]. This tells the program to put in two pen holders and three pod holders in the first row, then three bottle holders in the other two rows. pen_type: Right now this only supports the Wenax K1 (0) and VooPoo Vinci (1) (the two I use), but you can simply add more entries to the pens and pods definitions. Just measure your pens and pods and add a tiny bit of wiggle room. include_charger: This will put a hole in the bottom of the pen holder where you can glue in a charger. The hole is exactly centered. Change this to false if you don't plan to charge your pens in this station pod_type: Same concept as pen_type. space_size: This is set to 40mm by default. Make it bigger if you use larger devices that won't fit in the 40x40 space foot_size: This is the size of the foot on the bottom of the tray, useful for leaving room for charger wires. Change to zero if you don't want feet. lrf_depth: The depth, in MM, of a rubber foot if you plan to stick one inside the foot. Make it zero if you don't plan to use little rubber feet lrf_radius: The radius of the little rubber foot sticker recess_fillet: The fillet radius of the openings for bottles, pens, and pods edge_fillet: The fillet radius of the outer, top edges of the tray Settings for Pens, Pods, and Bottles - Only change these if you're using other brands!: pens_count: The number of pens that can fit in a space based on the pen_type pens_position1: The x,y,z location of the recess for the first (or only) pen, based on pen_type pens_position2: The x,y,z location of the recess for the second pen, based on pen_type pens_dimension: The size of the cutout to hold the pen based on pen_type charger_position1: The x,y,z location of the opening for the first (or only) charger, based on pen_type charger_position2: The x,y,z location of the opening for the second charger, based on pen_type charger_dimension: A default setting for a common USB-C charger. Change if your charger size is different The same concepts apply for pods. For the types of pens I use, the pod dimensions are the same as the pens, so it was easy, but some pens may vary! The bottle position and radius shouldn't have to be changed unless you're using an oddly-sized bottle. You will need to install the BOSL libraries in OpenSCAD if you haven't already.
